Friday the 13th was a lucky day for patients of the Alma Illery Medical Center. From the generosity and gratefulness of Homewood businessman Ron Scott, patients from the Center’s Pittsburgh and sites throughout the Mon Valley received turkeys and food for Thanksgiving meals from RS Supply LLC.

“I appreciate, receiving this turkey and all the dinner trimmings that go with it,” said Theresa Finn of McKeesport. “My first thought was that they were joking when I got the call.” Finn noted that Thanksgivings for the past three years for her family have been challenging since her 19 year old son was killed in Homestead.
